Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 2026 | Effective Date: September 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tridym Technologies Private Limited ("Tridym Technologies", "we", "our", or "us"), headquartered in Mysuru, Karnataka, India, collects, uses, encrypts, and handles personal telemetry and biometric data through the Exergrip mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
- Precise & Background GPS Location Data: When you launch outdoor telemetry activities (Cycling, Running, Walking/Rucking, Trail Hiking), Exergrip collects precise real-time geographic coordinates. This data is used exclusively to plot route lines on OpenStreetMap, calculate split velocity (km/h, pace per kilometer), detect terrain grade incline percentages, and produce 3D flyover story reels. If background recording is enabled, location data is collected while the phone screen is locked solely to prevent workout termination. Location tracking terminates immediately upon pressing "Stop and Save".
- Athlete Anthropometric & Biometric Measurements: User-entered height, body weight, and exercise loads. Weight data is utilized purely for mechanical physics algorithms (work done in Joules, tonnage lifted in kilograms, and MET caloric scaling).
- Hardware Proximity Sensor Telemetry: For the Push-Up counter module, the device's hardware infrared/optical proximity sensor is read in real time to register chest descent events. Sensor data is processed entirely on the local device's memory bus and is never stored, logged, or transmitted off the device.
- Account Credentials & Profiles: User name, email address, password hashes, and unique UUID identifiers authenticated via Supabase encrypted infrastructure.
2. Third-Party Infrastructure & Data Transfers
Tridym Technologies does not monetize, broker, or sell personal athlete telemetry to advertising brokers. We interface exclusively with trusted data sub-processors necessary to deliver core application functionality:
- Supabase (PostgreSQL & Auth Engine): Cloud-encrypted database instances enforcing Row-Level Security (RLS) policies where user data can only be read or modified by the authenticated token owner.
- OpenStreetMap Foundation: Cartographic tile mapping for outdoor GPS rendering. Map tile requests submit standard anonymous user-agent identifiers (

3. Data Retention & Security Controls
All data in transit is protected using TLS 1.3 encryption. Workout records, personal best PRs, and habit logs remain stored in your encrypted cloud profile until you request erasure.
4. User Deletion Rights
You maintain uninhibited rights to request the permanent purge of all profile data, GPS paths, and workout logs via the in-app profile settings or through our external Account Deletion Web Portal.
